Mountain House Community Services District (MHCSD) is seeking a construction infrastructure professional with extensive experience planning and managing the execution of construction projects to fill their position of Construction Manager. An individual who enjoys working for a growing community with many development projects. Using strong operational and influencing skills you will be able to manage a wide array of capital projects and partner with design and planning groups to ensure conditions of approval have been implemented. The new Construction Manager will be a critical thinker with strong analytical and estimating skills who is detail-oriented and possesses budgetary and time-management skills.
The Mountain House Community Development Department is responsible for planning, entitlement, design reviews and approvals of private developments, construction and acceptance of infrastructure projects and code compliance. As a master planned community, the private developers are responsible for design and construction of all public facilities. The Community Development Department oversees the design, plan checking, and construction oversight of the improvements. The construction projects include, but not limited to subdivisions, utilities, roadway, parks, community facilities and other public infrastructure supporting the developments.
Upon full build-out, residential development at Mountain House will consist of 12 neighborhoods, each organized around a Neighborhood Center containing a park, a K-8 school, and a small commercial area. The neighborhoods will each have a separate identity and architectural style, including building design and landscaping. Major shopping and other services will be met by the Village Centers and Town Center, the civic and commercial focus of the community, which is designed for mixed use commercial, office, and residential development. Employment centers will include office and industrial parks. The Mountain House Creek corridor and the Old River edge will be enhanced as part of an overall parks and open space system. Although currently a community services district, Mountain House is poised to become an incorporated city.
